A way with words?

Reading the quote from Parker Donham in the Feb. 7 paper, I realize he must be gearing up for the next phase of his career - as a children's writer.

He said, "Once big, yellow machines are working on the site and people are walking through the gates with lunch boxes, people will feel better about it." It sounds like a line from a Robert Munsch story, for Pete's sake! Munsch is a storyteller worth emulating, but I think the people of Nova Scotia deserve a bit more from our government's spokesperson on the tar ponds cleanup.

"Big, yellow machines" indeed! And the people with the lunch boxes, what kind of danger pay would they be getting?
