Brison seems ready to act

Last week I had the opportunity
to attend a meet-and-greet session
for Scott Brison, the federal public
works and government services
minister, who talked on the tar
ponds.
As I listened it was quite apparent
that Mr. Brison was in complete
control, showing his excellent
communication skills and business acumen.
I firmly believe that when his
department has the final blueprint
for the cleanup, this minister will
take action.
He also notes that while environmental
assessment is in process,
major elements such as stream
diversion can proceed.
When this project is finished the
concerned people of Cape Breton
will be able to export this blueprint
all over the world.
